Mystery solved. You must change your country to Switzerland to get the prices you got. Originally my country was set to Cyprus.

Searched and searched as suggested from Feb through August 2023 and nothing available at that price. Cheapest was 3152 euros with really long layovers.

February and March are the cheapest months, but you can as well find fares for around 2800€ for the other months, you may even book directly via the Oman Air website itself for just a bit more.
