1. What is Lufthansa Allegris?

Lufthansa Allegris is a new Cabin concept offering brand-new Economy, Premium Economy and Business class seats. First class suites are also offered on some of the aircraft.

The first class cabin is currently not featured on the new aircraft but should follow shortly.

Furthermore, there are plenty of different Business class seats available. From a double bed, to suites over extra long beds or extra privacy seats.

The inaugural intercontinental flight was on May 1st, 2024 to and from Vancouver.

By 2030, more than 200 new short- and long-haul aircraft are to be delivered.

2. Lufthansa Allegris Business and FIRST class Routes with Flight number

The first ever flight has been on the 1st of May between Munich and Vancouver with flight numbers LH476 and LH477 operated by an A350.

For now, only Business Class, Premium Economy Class and Economy class are available on the routes due to manufacturing problems of the First class seats. However, it has been announced that beginning of 2025, First class will finally also be available.

By clicking on the flight number you will be redirected to planefinder.net where you can see the last flights for the last 7 days with registration number, for that corresponding flight.

You may then compare those registration numbers with our Allegris aircraft by registration number list, to see how often that route is operated by an airplane with an Allegris cabin.

Currently, all the flights are from/to Munich to the following destinations:

When searching for flights at the Lufthansa website, a hint: “Allegris: New seat concept” may appear on your flight.

Otherwise, you can click on seat map on a specific flight. The Business Class Seat Map should look like that:

Another way to check is via Google Flights and to see if in First or Business Class, the flight offers SUITES instead of SEATS.

I checked the website today, looking specifically at Oct 27…YVR-MUC doesn’t show Allegris on the flight seleciton, but if you go through to seat selection it does.

I checked ORD SFO and YYZ, none of the seatmaps showed Allegris. Do we know where these planes are rostered for late October?

    • Winston

IMHO, it is probably because LH has not published their routes and timetables for winter 24. So you would find no Allegris after Oct 27.

Do you know what arrangements Lufthansa might make for any passengers who have booked and paid for a certain seat in a non-Allegris cabin, using the ‘old’ seatplan, and then find themselves on an upgraded aircraft?

I just came back from a trip (LH727, PVG – MUC), and I was able to choose 7K before check-in, even it is one of those seats reserved for passengers with babies. Anyhow, I am glad to be able to fly with this seat, as I was worried I would be kicked out at the last minute for other passengers with a baby, but luckily not. The seat was phenomenal, very spacious and comfortable. Headphone pairing and onboard WiFi also worked as it supposed to. Very good experience overall.

BTW, when we entered the plane, the seat numbers were missing, FA had to count rows physically to guide passengers to find their seats, which was very weird.

I wish to fly again and try private seats (rows 2 and 8) in the future.

      Hy,
The easiest way ti check is to make a one way dummy booking on the lufthansa website. When selecting flights, those with Allegris are marked as Allegris equipped.
Unfortunately it seems that Vancouver is not served by Allegris in September.
You probably are lucky however and you might get an ex Air Philipines A350 which is equipped with a solid 1-2-1 Business class.

Just back from our flight (YVR -> MUC) in Alegris. Seats are better than the old ones but otherwise…
    1. We were kicked out from our booked seats (row 2) by Lufthansa 2 days before departiure (no reason given).
    2. Meaning my wife and me were not able to talk during the whole flight…
    3. Ventilation (kind of AC) in the seat: FA didn’t know how to switch on. After I figured out myself: The air flow stopped after short time -> very hot the whole flight.
    4. Skynet did not function for the whole flight. No possibility to pair your own device.
…. so is this really better?
