British Airways is celebrating 100 years on 25th of August and is offering special catering during the month of August on long haul flights in all classes as well as a limited edition washbag in business class.
British Airways has teamed up with Michelin-starred British chef, Tom Kerridge, to design gourmet menus for their travellers during August.
The menus include:
First
- Loch Fyne smoked salmon tartare with smoked mayonnaise, seeded cracker and quail egg
- Fillet of halibut with roasted cucumber, girolle mushrooms, salad cream, accompanied by a classic Caesar Salad with sourdough croutons and pickled anchovies
- Milk chocolate and amaretto tart with salted caramel and white chocolate sauce
Club World
- Severn and Wye smoked salmon with asparagus and gribiche dressing
- Roasted breast of corn-fed chicken with braised pearl barley risotto and wild garlic
- Chocolate and amaretto tart with salted caramel sauce
World Traveller Plus
- Salad Dorset Blue Vinny cheese, celery, grapes and sunflower seeds
- Roasted breast of corn-fed chicken with braised pearl barley risotto and wild garlic
- Chocolate and amaretto tart, coffee and mascarpone cream
World Traveller
- Gourmet smoked chicken stew with a variety of summer vegetables

Customers in Club World will furthermorw receive a limited-edition wash bag from The White Company, while those in First can collect a special centenary amenity kit from Alice Temperley.
Children travelling through Heathrow Terminal 5 and Gatwick over selected dates in August can pick up a limited-edition backpack by personalised children’s gift brand My 1st Years, limited to a total of 5’000. In addition, all young flyers during August will be given a special branded luggage tag and a pin badge in their Skyflyers.
