1. What is Turkish Airlines Crystal Business Class?
Turkish Airlines Crystal Business Class is the airline’s brand-new premium Business Class suite designed for long-haul travel. It replaces the carrier’s older Boeing 777 Business Class product, which still uses a relatively outdated 2-3-2 configuration, one of the last major long-haul Business Class products globally without direct aisle access for every passenger.
Innovative Design from Turkey
The new Crystal Business Class Suite was developed based on passenger feedback and current industry trends. The suite was designed by TCI Aircraft Interiors, a subsidiary of Turkish Airlines, and features high-quality materials produced in Turkey.
Turkish Airlines describes the new cabin as a combination of modern luxury, enhanced privacy, and Turkish-inspired elegance.
Turkish Airlines already offers a modern 1-2-1 Business Class product on many Airbus A350 and Boeing 787 aircraft. However, Crystal Business Class represents a major upgrade thanks to the addition of privacy doors, newer technology, larger entertainment screens, and a more premium overall suite concept.
The new suites feature a modern 1-2-1 staggered layout, giving every passenger direct aisle access.
The cabin consists of 42 suites arranged across the aircraft in a staggered configuration. The suites combine maximum privacy, additional comfort, and elegant design, clearly aimed at competing with the world’s leading Business Class products.
- Own suite door and adjustable privacy screen for maximum privacy
- Spacious 23-inch-wide seats with direct aisle access
- Exclusive “Flow” design with warm colors and elegant rose-gold accents
- Cocktail table with marble-look finish and wireless charging
- 22-inch entertainment screen, USB-C sockets, Bluetooth audio, and enhanced noise reduction
Middle seats in alternating rows can transform into companion-style seating for couples travelling together.
For years, Turkish Airlines has been known for excellent onboard catering and one of the world’s largest route networks, but its older Boeing 777 Business Class cabin increasingly lagged behind competitors due to the outdated 2-3-2 layout. Crystal Business Class is designed to finally close that gap.
Unlike the current Turkish Airlines Boeing 777 Business Class product, Crystal Business Class finally introduces full privacy doors and a much more competitive premium experience, bringing Turkish Airlines closer to products such as Qatar Airways Qsuite, British Airways Club Suite, Air France Business Class Suites…
