1. What is Turkish Airlines Crystal Business Class?

2. Turkish Airlines Crystal Business Class Routes
Turkish Airlines is targeting November 2026 for the debut of Crystal Business Class, following delays since the suite was first unveiled in 2024. Chairman Murat Şeker recently said the airline hopes to introduce the new seats by November 2026, aboard a newly delivered Airbus A350.
There is an important distinction between the first Crystal Business Class flight and the longer-term routes expected to feature the product. The November 2026 launch route remains unknown, while the airline has publicly outlined plans to use Crystal-equipped A350-1000s on future nonstop services to Australia.
Important: November is a target, not a guaranteed entry-into-service date. The fact that a flight is operated by an Airbus A350 does not mean it will feature Crystal Business Class.
Planned Crystal Business Class Routes
- First Airbus A350 service – targeted for November 2026: Initial route not yet announced.

The dates remain subject to aircraft deliveries and operational changes. The future nonstop Australian services should not be confused with the airline’s existing one-stop routes.
Special Airbus A350-1000 Aircraft for Australia
Turkish Airlines plans a fleet of 15 Airbus A350-1000 aircraft featuring Crystal Business Class, with first deliveries expected from around mid-2027. The jets are planned in two versions:
- 7 Airbus A350-1000 aircraft: 48 Crystal Business Class suites each.
- 8 Airbus A350-1000 aircraft: 66 Crystal Business Class suites each, in a premium-heavy configuration intended for ultra-long-haul flights, including Australia.
The premium-heavy configuration prioritises a larger Business Class cabin while helping the airline meet the range requirements of long nonstop flights. Once Crystal Business Class enters commercial service, the best way to identify it will be to check the specific aircraft’s cabin configuration and, where available, its registration number.
A seat map is a useful starting point, but a 1-2-1 layout alone is not proof of Crystal Business Class. Turkish Airlines already operates Airbus A350 and Boeing 787 aircraft with older 1-2-1 Business Class seats.
Look for the new private suites with sliding doors and 22-inch screens. The airline’s earlier 42-suite layout should not be confused with the planned A350-1000 layouts offering 48 or 66 Crystal suites.
