Lounge Review: Lufthansa Senator Lounge Frankfurt Terminal 1 in winter 2021 during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Access & Location
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this was the only lounge open in this area.
Access to the lounge is granted to all Miles & More and Star alliance status members as well as business and first class passengers.
Seating options
The usual seating options are available, as you can see in the pictures. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the lounge was nearly empty, and it is hard to tell if it would be big enough during normal operations.
Food and Drinks
Food and beverages could not be consumed in the lounge, due to national restrictions.
When exiting the lounge you could grab some coffee, water, a banana or a sandwich and consume it outside the lounge. This was literally everything you got.
Other services
Showers and sleeping areas were still available during the Covid-19 pandemic which was a nice touch.
Bottom Line
In terms of drinks and food you better grab yourself something at the kiosks outside the lounge.
