Lounge Review: Lufthansa Business Class Lounge Munich Terminal 2, K Gates (Non-Schengen)
This is our review of Lufthansa Business Class Lounge Munich Terminal 2 Non Schengen at the K gates, which we visited in summer 2023.
Access and Location
The lounge is located near opposite of gate K11 adjacent to the Senator Class lounge which we have reviewed here.
Both lounges are literally the same, with the exception that you do not have sleeping pods in the Business Class lounge. However, some relaxing chairs are available therefore.
The following passengers have access: Lufthansa Frequent travellers; Senator and HON Circle members, Business Class passengers, First Class passengers & Star Alliance Gold members.
Furthermore, you can access this lounges if you have an American Express Platinum Card and a flight operated by the Lufthansa Group.
From the lounge you have a great view of parts of the apron.
Seating Option
A various amount of seating options are available in the lounge like individual seats, sofas, workstations to plug in your laptop, high chairs, bar seating, dining tables as well as some comfy looking relaxation stairs.
Food & Drink
In terms of food and drinks, the Lufthansa Business Lounge Munich Terminal 2,K gates is very good as, besides of flavored water, special cocktails and some nuts, it is exactly the same as in the adjacent senator lounge. For a more detailed view of the food options, simply check our Senator Class lounge review.
While the selection of food is not huge, you still had a solid selection of 4 warm dishes, 2 soups, a solid salad bar as well as some appetizers and desserts.
Everything on offer tasted excellent and fresh, and was better than other Senator lounges we visited so far.
Except for soft drinks or coffee, there was no self-service, you get all your alcoholic beverages from a server at the bar. As mentioned, the bar is literally the exact same as in the Senator lounge and even the waiters are the same as they can access both lounges behind the counter depending on the demand.
Other Amenities
Of course, WiFi is available for free in the lounge. Furthermore, you have a selection of magazines, toilets and some showers,
Bottom Line
Lufthansa Business Lounge Munich Terminal 2 Non Schengen K Gates is definitely one of the better Lufthansa lounges, as is the adjacent Senator Lounge. Senator lounge quality food and drinks itself might make this Lufthansa Business Class Lounge the best there is currently available.
