Review British Airways Lounge Edinburgh beginning of 2019.
Location & Access
The lounge is located in the Main terminal opposite of Gate 5.
You can access the lounge when travelling on business and first class on any Oneworld member airline or when you are travelling on any Oneworld member airline and have Sapphire or Emerald tier status.
Seating Options
As you can see, many seating options are available within the lounge. From relaxing chairs to sofas and dining tables. Plenty of space is available and you should find your place even if the lounge gets more crowded. Furthermore, power sockets are available at most places so that you can charge your electronics if needed.
As the British Airways Lounge Edinburgh is brand new, everything still looks very nice and very clean.
Food & Drinks
You have the choice between a decent selection of sandwiches and snacks (such as biscuits, cheese, soup, and fruits..). The British Airways Lounge Edinburgh offers a good selection of spirits, wine, soft drinks, tea and coffee.
While we were in the lounge no hot dishes were served but the sandwiches were actually tasty.
Other Amenities
The lounge offers complimentary news magazines and a small business corner with private rooms.
Unfortunately showers are not available within the lounge.
Conclusion
For a rather small airport, the British Airways Lounge Edinburgh is decent lounge with solid options for food and drinks. As the lounge is new, it is looking quite appealing. For a short layover before your flight we can definitely recommend this lounge.
