Miss the days of the 2 for 1 (basically) LX/LH deals. Even last year HEL-SIN was ~$3600. If the EUR/USD exchange rate was the same this would be even more intriguing. That said, pulled the trigger anyways. LX site lets you book out to July 5th, 2026 and you can make it fully refundable with no cancellation penalty for ~$300. JNB and maybe Mauritius in June is perfect.

unfortunately there are no such deals at the quoted price. At least not in October?

I just checked, the fare is still valid. You have to read the fare rules… In October only a handfull of dates are available, other months have better availability.

After 15th October, nothing available in October for that price. But lots of dates in November.
