Hotel Review Boeira Garden Hotel Porto Gaia, Curio Collection by Hilton, in Portugal during the Covid-19 pandemic end of 2020.
Location
The Boeira Garden Hotel Porto Gaia, Curio Collection by Hilton is located in Vila Nova de Gaia, just a couple of minutes away by foot from World of Wine and a metro station. It is located on an isolated site with very nice surroundings.
You have a main building where the reception, facilities and the rooms are located as well as a historical building which you can rent for bigger events.
Rooms
The rooms are on the smaller side in terms of size, but they were very clean and fully renovated. You could find the usual amenities within the room, each room is equipped with a private balcony which is a very nice touch.
Food & Drinks
During Covid-19, breakfast in the Boeira Garden Hotel Porto Gaia, Curio Collection by Hilton, was served à la carte and was simply amazing. You could get as many dishes freshly prepared from the menu below as you wish as well as pastries, bread, jam and so on. Covid-19 restrictions did not restrict the quality of the food here.
The bar was not open, but drinks were served all day long in the restaurant. We did not have dinner there. Room service was still available as well.
Staff
All the staff was very friendly and helpful, and we felt welcomed all the time. There is simply nothing to add further here.
Other Services
The spa area and fitness center were open and subject to reservation. Both were very well-equipped. It was also nice that they had a heated indoor pool as well as and outdoor pool for use during the summer.
The kids club was closed during the pandemic.
Bottom Line
If you do not mind being fully centrally located in Porto but near the World of Wine in Vila de Gaia, we can fully recommend the Boeira Garden Hotel Porto Gaia, Curio Collection by Hilton as we did not encounter any drawbacks at all.
