Lounge Review: Primeclass Riga Business Lounge
Here’s our review of the Primeclass Riga Business Lounge that we’ve visited this year.
Location and Access
This lounge is located past security and is accessible to passengers flying in Business Class on most airlines departing from Riga, as well as those with paid access through various lounge access providers. The lounge is spacious, offering several different rooms to choose from.
Seating options
From relaxing chairs and dining tables to cozy sofas and work pods, this lounge offers a variety of seating options to suit every need. Thanks to its large size, finding a comfortable place to sit is never an issue. There are even a few quieter spots for those seeking a bit more privacy.
Food and Drinks
The food and drink selection at this lounge was outstanding, surpassing many flagship lounges across Europe. As for drinks, everything was available—from soft drinks to spirits, and from stronger liquors to wine and beer. The beer selection, in particular, was unique; we’ve never seen anything like it in any other lounge. There were five beers on tap, along with additional bottled options.
There is even a designated Jägermeister station.
The food quality was excellent, offering a wide selection to choose from. First, there was a well-stocked salad bar with plenty of options. You could also enjoy some appetizers, a soup, and three different hot dishes. What stood out was the surprising variety— it appears they regularly change the selection of hot dishes, ensuring that even during a longer stay, you’ll experience some variety. Additionally, fresh fruit is available. A thoughtful touch is the small refrigerator stocked with packaged ice cream, perfect if you’re in the mood for a sweet treat.
Other Amenities
In addition to the usual magazine selection and Wi-Fi, the lounge features a spacious children’s playroom. Lockers and showers are also available. They even offer a few dedicated “hotel rooms” with beds, although these come at an extra cost and are best reserved in advance.
Bottom Line
Our experience at the Primeclass Riga Business Lounge was overwhelmingly positive.
This is by far the best contract lounge we’ve visited worldwide. In fact, its layout, food, drinks, and amenities surpass many airline and flagship lounges.
If you find yourself at Riga Airport, you should DEFINETLY spare some time and visit this lounge to have a relaxing stay with some quality drinks and good food.
