Lounge Review: Cathay Pacific Lounge Paris CDG Terminal 2
Review Cathay Pacific Lounge Paris in winter 2020.
Access & Location
The lounge is located air-side, on the second floor in a dedicated lounges area. Onewolrd Sapphire or Emerald passengers on any booking class or oneworld business and first class passengers have access.
Seating options
Many seating options are available. From sofas, to dining tables over high chairs. The lounge is literally one big room, so when the lounge becomes packed it will be impossible to find a space with some privacy. However we visited during the morning and beside us, only one more person was present in the lounge. Only American Airlines flights were announced so I guess everyone was staying there.
Food & Drinks
In this review of Cathay Pacific Lounge Paris obviously was not at their peak hour, but there were still some decent food options available. All were carefully packed due to the announcement of the Coronavirus. Bread, different pastries, cereals, fruits, cold plates as well as hot plates with eggs, spreads, beans and so on were accessible on the buffet.. Unfortunately the on demand dim sum and noodles bar only opened at 10am.
In terms of drinks the selection was standard, maybe some lack of spirits but for the rest the usual alcoholic and non alcoholic options were available.
Other services
A small business lounge is embedded in the big room as well as some luggage storage place. usually magazines are available to read but due to the coronavirus outbreak this service has been suspended. Showers can also be found within the lounge.
Conclusion
Our review Cathay Pacific Lounge Paris is positive overall. Like all Cathay lounges, the look is modern, the traditional dim sum service available and here despite being a small lounge food options even in their off peak hour is okay. The only negative aspect might be the lack of privacy when packed.
