Location and Access

The British Airways Lounge in London Heathrow Terminal 5B can be acceded by the train bringing you from the A gates to the B and C gates.

Access to this lounge is granted to British Airways Silver/Oneworld Sapphire members or above, and to people flying in British Airways or oneworld airline in Business or First class.

 

Seating options

This lounge has many different places to sit, mainly because it’s so big. What’s really cool is they made lots of cozy corners. So, in this lounge, you can find plenty of seats where you can have some privacy because it’s not as open as many other lounges.

You can find dining tables, bar seating, cozy sofas as well as some working pods.

 

Food and Drinks

The food and drink selection is very good, they serve almost the same food as in the First lounge. You have buffet style options on several occasions in this lounge, considering food and drinks. The drinks’ selection is well above average with lots of choices, especially considering “better” spirits. However, freshly cooked food is also available as well as a cocktail station.

You can find coffee machines next to the bar, along with some cookies. On different places located in the lounge, you can find additional water and juice stations, so you definitely do not have to wait in a line to grab yourself something to drink or eat.

The heart of the lounge is the whispering Angels bar, where you have hundreds of Whispering Angels Rose bottles on display.

 

Other Amenities

Restrooms, showers, Wi-Fi and power outlets can be found. A rather nice supplement is the kid’s play-area where you can find many toys, games and a TV, ideal if you are travelling with small and not so small children.

Furthermore, there are plenty of private restrooms, cleaned literally after every customer.
