Lounge Review American Airlines Admirals Club Dallas Fort Worth, in Spring 2020.
Access & Location
The lounge is located in Terminal D between Gates 23 & 24 and open to American Airlines as well as Oneworld members flying in Business class.
Seating Options
The American Admirals Club Dallas is big with a lot of different rooms and thus plenty of different seating options. When we visited there were not too many people within the lounge, but I can imagine that even with more people visiting you should find some good seats, even those offering a little of privacy. The seats are well separated to each other and overall the lounge is surprisingly open. Power sockets can be found at most places.
Food & Drinks
In terms of food, the free options are limited to some cold appetizers, fruits, nuts and a dessert offered on two different buffets. Just before we left a pasta counter opened with some free choices. More food is available, however you have to pay for these dishes. At least they taste excellent and are served to your seat.
Free soft drinks and coffee are available in the American Admirals Club Dallas at the self-service desks. Alcohol however has to be ordered at the bar. Basic beer as well as some spirits are available free of charge. Other drinks however are not complementary and are way too expensive.
Furthermore, I can imagine that you have to wait for a long time as only one bar is embedded within the lounge.
Other Amenities
Conference rooms, showers and a lot of business pods including computers are available within the lounge. Furthermore, a very nice fully equipped Kids room is available for families travelling with children.
Conclusion
The American Admirals Club Dallas is very spacious and everyone will find a nice spot to sit in. The hot food is really good but unfortunately you have to pay for it, which is the same for premium alcohol.
To relax a bit and work on your laptop, the lounge is excellent. If you want to grab something to eat however you can as well opt in for one of the many restaurants as you have to pay for the food anyway.
