Kenya Airways Is Matching Airline, Hotel & Credit Card Status (Skyteam 2025)

Kenya Airways is currently running a status match offer that makes it easy to get elite status in their Asante Rewards program, and with it, useful SkyTeam perks like lounge access and priority check-in. What’s nice about this one is how open it is.  You can apply if you hold elite status with many other airlines, big hotel programs, or even some premium travel credit cards.

This promotion is being managed by Loyalty Status Co, the same company that runs StatusMatch.com.

Conclusion: Is It Worth It?

Yes, if you plan to fly with SkyTeam within the next 12 months and currently don’t hold any status. This match gives you:

  • SkyPriority services (fast-track check-in, boarding, and more)
  • Extra baggage allowance
  • Lounge access (with Elite Plus)

However, if your only goal is to get lounge access, and you don’t plan to fly SkyTeam, you’re likely better off with a Priority Pass membership (Save 30% Offer) or similar lounge program.
