Cargolux Paints a Mask on their 747

Cargolux based in Luxembourg and the 8th biggest cargo airline worldwide (by scheduled freight ton-kilometers) painted a mask on one of their 747s.

We were already impressed how Luxembourg handles the Covid-19 situation, it seems that Luxembourg wants to show the world how serious they take the fight against the pandemic, by putting a mask even on an aircraft ;).

One of their 30 747, a 747-8 with the registration code LX-VCF has now a blue painted mask and the words “Not Without My Mask” written below the carrier’s name on the side of the aircraft. With all the details, including elastic and stitching on the edges. The mask was “stuck” on the company’s C on one side and on the X on the other side.

Apparently the mask has been added to its livery in Taipei, as part of some routine maintenance. The plane flew from Baku to Taipei on July 15, and hasn’t flown since, most probably it will re-enter service soon.

You can track the plane here, to see when it’s coming to an airport near you, it will for sure come to Luxembourg very soon.
