You can use AARP discount with flights that you book through the BA website. This discount works only if you book through BA not via American Airlines or an online travel agency. Everyone can be a AARP member for only $12 a year.

For example, New York to Naples (ITA) via the BA website cost you $1786 before the AARP discount and only $1586 after the discount.

  TRAVEL FROM TURNAROUND MUST COMMENCE NO EARLIER THAN THE
  FIRST SUN AFTER ARRIVAL AT TURNAROUND.
  AND - TRAVEL FROM TURNAROUND MUST COMMENCE NO EARLIER THAN
        24 HOURS AFTER ARRIVAL AT TURNAROUND.
  TRAVEL FROM INBOUND TRANSATLANTIC SECTOR MUST COMMENCE NO
  EARLIER THAN 7 DAYS AFTER DEPARTURE OF THE OUTBOUND
  TRANSATLANTIC SECTOR.
  AND - TRAVEL FROM TURNAROUND MUST COMMENCE NO EARLIER THAN
        24 HOURS AFTER ARRIVAL AT TURNAROUND.

  TRAVEL FROM LAST STOPOVER MUST COMMENCE NO LATER THAN
  MIDNIGHT 6 MONTHS AFTER DEPARTURE FROM FARE ORIGIN.

  NO STOPOVERS PERMITTED.
