British Airways Avios Subscription Packages

British Airways offers a new way to buy yourself some avios.

You can buy several packages where you receive avios on a monthly basis for a full year.

You can either pay by month or pay the full amount of a year in advance, which will save you 2 months of the subscription fees.

The cheapest package (200’000 avios per year) will cost you £1789.

This is a better ratio than you will usually get when buying avios, even with the bonus offered by British Airways from time to time.

However, you have to keep in mind that whilst paying the full amount in advance, you will still only get the avios on a monthly basis and would be very vulnerable to an eventual devaluation of points.
