Where Can You Travel Right Now?

Many destinations around the world have travel restrictions in place due to Covid-19. Wouldn’t it be nice to see on a map to which countries you may travel to, from the country you live in?

Have you ever wondered where you can travel right now?

If have already tried to find an answer on the internet, you probably have found tons of information. But most of them are confusing or not up to date. Some  restrictions count for Americans, others for Germans only and so on.

Tool that shows you where you can travel

We found a very useful tool, Covid-19 travel info by Skyscanner.

By selecting the country you live in, this tool shows you all other countries where you can travel to right now, on a map.

Furthermore, you will get information like if you have to go into quarantine up on arrival or on return, or information about new COVID-19 cases from the current week and more.

The map shows you information about each country. GREEN for low restrictions, ORANGE for moderate restrictions and RED for Major restrictions.

Below is the map that is shown to you when you select UK as the country you live in.

What do the restrictions mean?

  • Low Restrictions: You can travel here and likely won’t need to quarantine when you arrive or return.
  • Moderate Restrictions: Travel here is possible if you meet certain entry regulations which can include taking a COVID-19 test. You may also be required to quarantine upon arrival and/or return.
  • Major Restrictions: Travel here may be suspended. The country may be closed or entry is only possible if you are a citizen and/or meet strict requirements.

This tool seems to be pretty accurate, but to be sure we would recommend double-checking with the local government advice.
