Lounge Review: Preludium Lounge Warsaw
This is our review from the Preludium Lounge at the Warsaw airport.
Location and Access
The lounge is located behind security, at the gates.
You can access here if you have a membership at the know lounge passes like Priority Pass or Dragon Pass for example. Furthermore the lounge serves as business class lounge for multiple airlines such as British Airways, KLM, Air France, Turkish Airlines only to name a few.
Seating options
The lounge is mainly one big quadratic room divided by some open dividers. So it is basically an open space design.
They have a “green” theme with some moss being on display on several sports and some walls, however we were not able to identify the specific purpose or concept of this “feature”.
You have the option between some dining tables, some sofas as well as high chairs. Overall the lounge is not that big so when crowded, seating might become an issue especially regarding how many potential passengers have access.
Food and Drinks
When we visited in the morning, the food options have been below average with mainly cold options like ham and cheese, two kinds of salad, yogurts an some fruits. On top of that you can have some cornflakes. Additionally some snacks like olives and nuts were available.
In terms of hot dishes, only scrambled eggs and some kind of soup was available
Regarding drinks, the average selection of soft drinks, beer and wine was on display. In terms of spirits there is definitely room for improvement,
Other Amenities
Besides free WiFi, nothing extra was available in the lounge. The restrooms were rather filthy when we visited.
Bottom Line
If you are lucky and the lounge is not crowded, you might want to visit to grab a seat and a coke. For a longer stay or if you want to have something solid to eat, we definitely cannot recommend this lounge.
