Lounge Review: Lufthansa Senator Lounge Dubai

This is our review from the Lufthansa Senator Lounge at the Dubai airport.

Location and Access

The Lufthansa lounges in Dubai are located behind the security control in Terminal 1.

Access is granted to the following passengers:

First class passengers on a SWISS flight
Star alliance Gold (including Senator) passengers travelling with a Star Alliance member airline.

The Lufthansa Senator Lounge Dubai is located right next to the Lufthansa Business Class lounge.

Seating options

The lounge literally is a rather small rectangular room, with lack of privacy regardless of where one chooses to sit.

The typical Lufthansa furniture layout is present, featuring tables and sofas arranged in the usual manner. Additionally, a compact designated area is provided for guests looking to work on their laptops, limited in space. A couple of high chairs are also available within this setup.

Food and Drinks

The food and drinks selection offered in the lounge may not be extraordinary, but the quality of the food is not bad. Guests have the option to choose from a cold buffet selection, which includes various items, along with two hot dishes and a few hot appetizers. This variety provides a decent range of options for guests to enjoy.

Regarding beverages, the lounge offers a standard assortment of soft drinks, spirits, wine, and beer, catering to various preferences. Additionally, a coffee machine is available for those seeking a hot beverage during their stay. This selection ensures that guests have a reasonable array of choices without being out of the ordinary.

Other Amenities

The shower facilities and toilets in the lounge are shared with the Lufthansa Business Class lounge. Guests also have the possibility to deposit their luggage if necessary.

Furthermore, the lounge provides access to Wi-Fi connectivity. Additionally, a copy machine is available for any business or administrative needs that guests may have.
