Lounge Review: Aspire Lounge Zurich Schengen area
Aspire Lounge Zurich review in summer 2019. The lounge is split into two separate lounges.
The seating options are slightly different but the buffet and drink selection is the same.
Location & Access
The lounge is located air-side, in the Schengen area, Gates A & B. Access is granted to a lot of different passengers, just have a look at the picture.
Seating Options
There are all kinds of seating options available except for real relaxing chairs. However on a visit earlier this year the lounge was very crowded and people literally had to stand in the lounge because of the lack of space.
Another downside is that there are no seats available were you have at least a little bit of privacy as you can see in the picture.
Food & Drinks
The drinks selections is pretty solid as all kind of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available so if you simply want to have some drinks quickly without eating something in the Aspire Lounge Zurich and the lounge is not overcrowded you are fine.
However, the food selection is not good at all. Some fruits, bread, a very simplistic salad buffet, one soup and one hot dish is all you get here.
If you want to have a solid lunch or dinner, we recommend you visit one of the very good restaurants available in the terminal as in the lounge, as food selection is mediocre.
Other services
Wi-Fi is available free of charge as well as a small magazine selection and a small business center. The bathroom is outside the lounge, showers are not available.
Conclusion
We can only recommend the lounge if it’s not too crowded and you want to have some drinks and don’t want to spend too much time in there. Due to the lack of showers, adequate bathrooms and food, you will probably have a better time in the nice looking terminal.
