You might want to update this. BA have changed the rules for when the year starts/ends. It now runs from April->March regardless of when you join. They’ve also in the process of moving away from tier points and switching to a purely revenue based system. Silver requires you to spend about £7,500 (not including tax) on flights. So they might be able to squeeze in 1 year of BA silver if they complete the travel before April, but after that… they won’t even get Bronze. Still, they will have had a trip to Hawaii… so now a complete loss.

You are right, this is only valid if you fly before April 2025. We forgot to add that in the post. Thx
