British Airways Club Suite Routes

The Ultimate Guide for BA Club Suite, all the info you need about routes where you can experience the new BA Club Suite, including flight numbers, plane registrations, retrofit schedules, and more.

Introduction

Over the last years, BA was not really known to offer an excellent business class product. By introducing their new Club Suite with sliding doors, this has definitely changed now.

British Airways received the first club suite cabin with the A350-1000, in July 2019. The list below shows you all aircraft that are currently equipped with the new Club World Suites. It will grow significantly in the near future, and we will update the list as fast as possible when changes will occur.

There is, of course, still the possibility that dates will change, as not all the planes with the new cabin have arrived yet. This list represents not only the present, but also the future planned routes with the new club suite cabin.

Furthermore, you will also be able to see the last operated routes from a particular aircraft, simply click on the aircraft’s registration number.

(last update, SEP 01, 2024)

We publish business class deals from Europe and from North America on a daily basis, also these with the British Airways Club World Suite, when deals appear.

1. All BA Club World Suite Routes

These flights are always to/from London Heathrow.

By clicking on a flight number, you can see on planefinder.net which aircraft flew that route the last 7 days. You may then compare those registration numbers with our “BA Club Suite by registration number list”, to see how often a route is operated by airplanes equipped by the club suite business class.

Furthermore, some few of those routes are not operated every day by the Club World Suite cabin, flight numbers should only be considered as additional information.

Keep in mind that British Airways can change flight equipment at any given time without further notice. For any reason, like an aircraft that is out of service. As you booked a business class flight, you will of course be in business class, but without the new club world suite cabin.

2. How to check if a British Airways flight offers the new Club World Suite?

All of British Airways’ new Airbus A350-1000 will offer the new Club World Suite.

Since October 2019, the first new Club world Suite cabin has been available in a retrofitted Boeing 777-200 as well. From that moment on, more and more B777-200 are being retrofitted.

In 2020 the new Boeing 787-10 did also receive the club suite cabin.

The way you can tell if an aircraft has the new BA Club World Suite cabin is from the seat map. We use ExpertFlyer to check the seat maps. This is what you need to look out for.

The seat map for the Club Suite looks like this, with a cabin layout that show a 1-2-1 seating arrangement. Older cabins without the club suite do not have a 1-2-1 configuration.

Alternatively, you can also check via Google Flights if the business class seat is shown as “Suite”. However, this will not always work correctly.

    Hello,

Flying DFW – LHR Nov 4th on a 777. They currently fly the airbus on this route but switch to the 777 in late Oct I believe. I can’t figure out if these will have the new or old configuration? Also returning Nov 20 on a 777.

    • premiumflights

It looks that BA changed that again, now it seems that only until MAR25 the route is operated once a day with Club Suites, starting APR25 they operate it with an A380 and 787 (without suites)

      • Georgia Dear

Booked LHR to MSY April 25, BA 225. Looks from your list that this should be a suite, however the seat selector on the app is the old style?

        • premiumflights

It seems that BA is changing a lot lately, BA225 has suites until March 25 only now, thereafter it is operated by a 787 (and for the moment it looks like that the 787 has no suites, but there’s a chance that this will change again)

  • Matthew Thomas

Just booked a reward flight on BA55 17th August 2025. Looks like they’ve switched the plane to a 787-9. What’s the likelihood this will be the new business suite by the time we get to August 2025?

  • Andreas Winkler

    Hi

We booked a flight from London to Nassau December 31st
    Flightnumber BA 253
On the seatmap its a 2-4-2 setup (the old setup)

On your list BA 253 on wednesday should have the new club suite setup

    Best refards

    • premiumflights

It seems that BA changed that a bit, they still fly that route 3 times a week (or more) with planes equipped with Suites, but on irregularly weekdays,

  • Jay Better

I will be flying Sydney to Rome (via Heathrow) in May 2025 and Heathrow to Sydney in June 2025 – it looks like both of those flights will be the older Club World, not the Club Suits – does that sound right?

    • premiumflights

You mean Rome via Heathrow and Singapore to Sydney.
LHR-SIN one of both daily has the Club Suites (777) and SIN-SYD has Club Suites only from November to March.

  • Michelle

I used TrackMySeat to look at BA286 (SFO-LHR), it looks like 100% of recent flights are Club Suites, but I just booked a flight for next June, and when I pre-paid my seat, it was the old config, so I had to pick a backwards seat at the back of biz to avoid stepping over my neighbor. Did they remove the Club Suites from SFO?

    • premiumflights

I can’t imagine they remove the suites from an existing route, unless it’s low season, and they need the plane for another route where it will be high season.

      • Stuart

I just booked LHR-SFO for August 13 2025 and the BA booking shows this will be a 787 (not clear which one, albeit seat booking shows the old configuration). Looking at planefinder, as noted above, 100% of recent flights have been 777-300s (so I believe would be new suites). Is there any chance therefore that it will change to 777 between now and then? If it doesn’t have you any idea whether the 787s on that route may upgrade between now and then (optimstic query I appreciate!)?

    • Aysia

BA229 from iad to lhr, it looks like you stated from nov-march of 2025 for club suite availability? I booked a late October 2024 trip via this route as well as a lhr to bwi and both seat maps were club suites. Hopefully that’s accurate on the day of travel.

  • SteveHOU

Thanks for all your efforts on this. I am planning to book IAH-LHR for 7/16/25 and both flights, BA194 & 196 are showing 787-9 which today would guarantee the old business configuration. However, I see that currently the route is being served by 777. Do you show anything different? Thanks.

    • premiumflights

That is in about 1 year, as you said some flights have the suites already, those served by 777, my guess is that when they plan to use only 787 for that route next year at least one should have the suites by then. I see today as well only the old business for next year summer.

  • RomaBound

I have a. flight in November on a BA Boeing 777 from Los Angeles to LHR. Has this plane been converted to the Club Suites?

  • sachin patel

looks like dubai from next year is reverting to 787 on all flights? just had the seats change to 2-3-2 layout on flights in jan.

    • premiumflights

I can’t confirm that. In January from 3 daily flights, one is operated by a 787, one by a 777 (with Club Suites) and one by an A380.
February to March, one by an A380 and two by a 777 (with Suites)
Starting April, all flights by a 777 (with Suites)

    • Maria Evagora

Hiii. I don’t see any Dallas flights on your list. I’m planning on early summer 2025 from Heathrow. BA says it’ll be a 777, but not which type. Do you know if that route with that aircraft will be the Club Suite ?

      • premiumflights

At the moment it is an A380, from November to December a 777 with Suites, thereafter again the A380 and starting April BA will switch again to the 777 with suites.
It’s updated in the post now.

  • BNAFlight

FYI – Was curious about my BNA-LHR flight in November showing the old Club World layout. Response from BNA:
“BA will be going back to the 787 after completing summer schedule. You will see the change at the end of October.”

    Bummer!!!

    • Ray Charles

Are you able to confirm what dates count as winter from Heathrow to Singapore? I fly Mid-November and was hoping to catch a B777.

  • Nicholas Marques

Leaving from JFK to LHR in June 2025 flight BA116 but cant find that flight anyehere in this article or links. Will that flight have the updated cabin suites??

  • Zack

Many of the flights operating to and from BWI this summer have the club suites layout. This isn’t mentioned anywhere in the post

  • JAY

Hi i just noticed theres 2 flights to Sao paulo from LHR per day. One is listed as British Airways – BA0241 which isnt on your list as having the new club world suites.

The other flight leaving later the same day is British Airways – BA0247 which you have listed as having the new club world suites.

What are the chances British Airways – BA0241 will have the new club world suite? Or shouldn’t i risk it and just go with BA0247? (as i only want to fly on the new club world suite)

    Thanks

  • MarkR

    Great information – thanks.
For San Diego, currently 0264/0265 flight pair is offered on 777-200 with club suites.
0272/0273 pair is running with 787 club world for at least this summer/early fall.

  • chmielko

booked BA266 / 267 from LHR to PDX (and back) a while ago for the trip in August. When purchasing, the layout indicated club suites. Now when tryinh to purchase seats, we’re back in the ying-yang config… disappointing 🙁

  • JC

    Hi

Thank you for the great work!

I’ve noted that the current BA88/89 between LHR/PKX flights are running on the 777, offering Club Suite.

I’ve booked flights leaving on the 19/04/25 and returning on the 11/05/25. BA is showing that the aircrafts planned will be 787-8. Could you confirm this please?

Is it common for BA to alternate between these aircrafts for the same route?

I’ve also read elsewhere that 787-8 was used from autumn 2023 though to spring 2024.

    Thank you again!

      • premiumflights

Starting mid-October that route is operated by a 787 without club suites, but as the first 787-8 has been retrofited now and the next will follow, it could be that they will use them on this route.
But at the moment, starting mid-October no more Suites LHR-PKX

    • Jennifer

Why are BA stopping BA88 and BA89 from MId October LHR to PKX?
I have flights booked end of Novemebr and was excited to see the club suites started o that route from APril this year.
