Flight review : Lufthansa Business Class Luxembourg to Frankfurt
Review of the short-haul flight with Lufthansa business class from Luxembourg to Frankfurt
Flight
The flight was on a CRJ900 NextGen. Flying time was around 25 minutes. My seat was 4D, and the noise on the aircraft is surprisingly low when you are seating in front due to the fact that the engines are located in the back.
Boarding
Boarding was very fast and efficient, probably because the aircraft is rather small and you could walk to the aircraft from the terminal B at Luxembourg.

Seats
The seats are in a 2-2 configuration and are the new ultra slim ones. Legroom is very limited and the seats are not very comfortable in my opinion. At Lufthansa like many other european carriers, flying short-haul business class, you will have a normal economy recliner seat with the seat adjacent to it blocked. For my 25 minutes flight this was more than enough, however you are probably better seated in an emergency exit row. No power sockets are available.
Lufthansa short-haul business class
Ultra slim seats
Limited Legroom
Your “limited” space
Air vent and reading lamp for every seat
Food & Drinks
On this very short flight you could choose from a variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, and pleasantly we even got a small cold plate to eat
Service
Service was very friendly and efficient, lile most of the times with Lufthansa.
Entertainment
The only thing we had were the Lufthansa in flight magazines. No other magazines have been offered to us which was not a problem on such a short flight. WiFi is not available on the CRJs for the time being
Conclusion
For a short flight the service was very good and seating okay, but considering the limited legroom with those new ultra slim seats and the lack of entertainment options, Lufthansa, like many other european carriers, is not a very pleasant way of spending several hours in a business class.
